The Royal Borough’s new managing director is set to be paid £129,000 a year.
A report which recommends councillors approve Alison Alexander’s appointment says she is set to receive an extra £10,543 on top of the salary which the current director of children’s services is paid.
The £129,000 is the same amount which the previous managing director earned. The role has a fixed-term two year contract.
She is set to take on the role of managing director and head of paid services tomorrow if the appointment is approved at full council tonight.
Ms Alexander will also continue her role as strategic director of children’s services.
