A year-long partnership between Royal Windsor Racecourse and Berkshire College of Agriculture (BCA) culminated in a race day on Monday.
BCA students were invited to an open day at the racecourse in October last year and over the past 12 months the racecourse has worked with the college to offer work experience.
Business studies students were chosen to work with the commercial team selling hospitality while horticulture students were also shown around the racecourse and worked with the grounds team.
In total 14 students worked at the BCA race day in different departments.
A total of 120 students from this year’s intake at the college attended a race day for presentations from the executive director at Windsor Racecourse, Stuart Dorn, and other members of the team.
Mr Dorn said the ‘biggest success’ of the project was artwork by an art and design student, chosen from 31 entries, which was used for promotional material and the race card.
