Things turned prickly in the boardroom for Elle Stevenson who was criticised for being too negative.
Elle, who is a former pupil of the Brigidine School, was brutally honest with her fellow team mates in the second episode of the BBC One television series.
In a boys vs girls challenge, Lord Alan Sugar, asked the teams to put together a marketing campaign for a luxury shampoo which contained essence of cactus flower.
Following a pitch made by four members of her team mates, 21-year-old Elle, admitted she thought it was ‘relatively poor’ and said she was ‘trying to be honest’.
The all girl team unfortunately lost the challenge with Lord Sugar’s new advisor, Claude Littner(ok) saying Elle had actually mentioned anything she actually liked about the product.
“I don’t think I heard a positive comment,” he added.
Despite the criticism, Elle managed to survive elimination and will return in the next episode which will air next Wednesday.
