Liquid nightclub in Windsor is to close and will be replaced by new venue Atik following a £650,000 refurbishment.
The new club, artist's impression pictured above, in William Street will create 25 additional full-time and part-time positions.
Nightclub operator Deltic Group is behind the investment which will see the refurbishment and rebranding of all three rooms with new sound systems, lighting and themed bars.
General manager Jon Taylor said: “Liquid has been part of the Windsor scene for 11 years, but it’s time to create an entirely new experience for today’s clubbers.
“We are confident that our existing and new customers will really enjoy the look and feel of Atik.”
Liquid will close on Sunday and open as Atik on Thursday, October 29.
An ‘End of an Era’ party is being held at Liquid tonight.
“We understand that Liquid holds many fond memories for people, from celebrating their 18th birthday to meeting their life partner and we will help people relive those key moments through the music we play on its final night,” Jon said.
