Dedicated cubs from Windsor were presented the highest award possible on Thursday, December 3.
Four cubs from the Central Windsor 6th pack, based in Green Lane, were presented with their Chief Scout Silver Award by the district commissioner of Windsor and Eton cubs, David Smith.
The pack was set up two years ago after Windsor’s other cub group became oversubscribed.
Now the 33-strong group meets every Thursday, led by Andy Bell.
Andy said: “They were very pleased and very proud. Their parents came along to watch the presentation.
“We’ve only been open for two years so I am very proud of them.
“All the cubs are working towards the silver award but these four have just done a bit more and worked at weekends to get their awards early.”
