Money raised from Brigidine School’s Christmas fair will be used to buy new equipment.
As well as the usual stalls and music there was Santa’s sleigh in the Kings Road school’s hall at the event held on Saturday.
Teacher and author Pat Keen was on hand with her books, as well as a former pupil who is now a puppeteer.
For the first time artist Matthew Wright was sketching at the fair and the school plans to make this a feature of future Christmas fairs.
PTA member Sunita Shroff said : “It was absolutely brilliant, the quintessential Christmas fair.”
