An Old Windsor mum has been found not guilty of causing or allowing the death of her 23-month-old daughter.
Kirsty Lee, of Grove Close, stood trial at Guildford Crown Court last week in connection with the death of toddler Cara Lee-Fanus, who was left brain dead from a severe head injury and died on Thursday, May 29, 2014.
The 26-year-old mother also faced a charge of causing or allowing serious physical harm to a child.
But after deliberating for 11 hours and 19 minutes, the jury found Ms Lee innocent of both charges.
