Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is hosting a Valentine event for dog owners to celebrate the day with the true love of their life.
The centre in Priest Hill, Old Windsor, will put on a ‘puppy love’ day on Saturday, with a kissing booth for dogs and owners to take home a memorable snap in return for a donation towards to the animal charity.
There will also be crafts for children, tea and cakes, and a chance for visitors to meet dogs like Reggie the boxer cross who has spent more than a year in the kennels and is looking for a home.
The centre hopes the fundraising event will inspire support for Battersea and its work to rescue and rehome thousands of dogs and cats each year.
Entrance is £2 for adults and £1 for children, with the day beginning at 11am and ending at 4pm.
