A popular hotel in Windsor celebrated its grand opening with cocktails and canapés.
Castle Hotel Windsor, in High Street, has been added to the MGallery collection by Sofitel which involved the hotel being revived and refurbished.
The launch party gave guests the chance to tour the hotel and learn about the unique history behind it.
The hotel was first registered as The Mermaid Inn in 1525.
Today it has 108 bedrooms, five of which are executive suites which are each named after a Royal Warrant holder.
More than 150 guests attended the launch event on Thursday, January 28, which included the Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead, Cllr Eileen Quick.
MGallery hotels are described as ‘boutique’ with ‘unique personalities’.
