Christmas came early for the Windsor Glee Club as they recorded an album at the iconic Abbey Road Studios.
The group joined the ranks of the Beatles and Pink Floyd when they spent a day at the London studio as part of a 200-strong choir, recording a seven-song Christmas album on Friday, February 5.
The group’s leader, James Manwaring, said: “What an amazing day it was.
“It has been a long time coming and I was thrilled to get the chance to visit the iconic studio and record there with my amazing glee choir.
“Today is a day that we will remember for life.”
The adult community choir meets at The Windsor Boys’ School on Tuesdays at 7.30pm.
Anyone from 16-years-old is welcome to join and there are no auditions. Contact Terri on 0208 133 1074 for more information.
