Firefighters had to evacuate three people from a from a boat after being called to a fire in Windsor this afternoon.
Crews from Windsor and Slough were joined by a 4x4 unit from Maidenhead and a boat from Beaconsfield at about 3.30pm.
The blaze apparently started in the craft’s boiler room, while it was moored near Windsor Leisure Centre, in Stovell Road.
It took about an hour and a half to fully bring the incident under control, including a complete safety check of the vessel.
The people evacuated did not need medical attention.
It is not known what caused the blaze.
