The sound of some of Mozart’s best work rang out through Windsor Parish Church on Saturday during a special concert.
The Windsor-based Royal Free Singers teamed up with the Orchestra of London and conductor Benedict Gunner to perform in front of a sell-out crowd.
The concert programme included renditions of Mozart’s Requiem in D Minor and Ave Verum Corpus.
Soprano Susan Piggott, mezzo-soprano Helen Brackenbury, tenor Wagner Moreira and bass Nicholas Morton all wowed the audience with their vocals.
Linda Chanan, chairman of the community choir, said the group had a ‘wonderful evening’ and urged anyone interested in singing to get involved.
