The opening of a new playground was the highlight of an open day for pupils at St John’s Beaumont School.
The annual open day took place on Saturday, May 14 with visitors invited to come along to view the facilities at the school in Priest Hill, Windsor.
On offer were a range of activities including building, open water swimming training, a music concert and pottery.
The school’s new playground was also opened with headteacher Giles Delaney first in the queue to test out the slide, swiftly followed by boys from the school to the applause of their parents.
PA to the headteacher, Elaine Wisden, said: “Both boys and parents seemed to have a tremendous morning and everyone left with a big smile on their face.”
