A jogger rescued a man from the River Thames by Windsor Leisure Centre this morning (Sunday).
A member of the public was jogging with his girlfriend when he saw a man in the river at the end of Stovell Road at about 11am.
He jumped in and started pulling him out of the water and was assisted by a lifeguard from the leisure centre.
Staff from Windsor Leisure Centre gave the man CPR and were assisted by firefighters from Slough and Langley Fire Stations when they arrived on the scene.
Crew manager Seth Juby from Slough Fire Station said: “The guy from the leisure pool and member of the public saved his life.”
The man was 'breathing and conscious' when he was taken to Wexham Park Hospital by South Central Ambulance Service.
