Forget the EU referendum, the results of this year’s most anticipated poll have been counted and verified.
A new roundabout fountain has been installed in Windsor’s Clarence Road, and the project, with a budget of £100,000, was quickly blasted for ‘looking like a toilet brush’ by Mark David, who lives in Dedworth Road.
A staggering turn out of 129 people weighed in on the poll, with ‘yes the water fountain does look like a toilet brush’ winning the vote.
The yes campaign scored 49.6 per cent (64), with the no only slightly behind on 42.6 per cent (55).
Of those who took part in the vote, 10 people simply could not care less whether the fountain looked like a toilet brush or not.
