The Princess of Wales pitched in with her three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to volunteer at The Baby Bank charity in the run-up to Christmas.
Princess Kate visited the group’s base in Holyport Road with the young royals to help pack bags of presents for families in need in the Royal Borough over the festive season.
The Baby Bank, originally founded in Windsor, has been running a Christmas Pyjama Appeal for the past five years.
The initiative seeks donations from the public for new pyjamas, a selection box and new books which can be handed out to disadvantaged children.
The royals heard how the charity expects to distribute 1,500 bags over the festive season.
In a video of the visit, released by Kensington Palace, the Princess of Wales told her son George: “You can see how rewarding this work is, knowing that you’re helping out others.”
A quarter of families living with a child under the age of five in the UK are living in poverty, the video added.
Princess Kate visited the borough-based charity in April after receiving an invitation from Rebecca Mistry and Lauren Hall, who run the organisation.
