Lamborghinis, Bugattis and even a Rolls-Royce made in 1914 lined the grounds of Windsor Castle as the Concours of Elegance returned to the Queen’s residence.
The classic car show has not been held in the town for four years but it made a spectacular comeback at the weekend with motoring fans catching a glimpse of a stellar line-up of cars.
The show’s most prestigious models, including a 1914 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Barker Alpine Eagle and a 1936 Bugatti Roadster, took centre stage in the Quadrangle.
More than 100 cars also lined up along a section of The Long Walk and attracted the attention of thousands of petrol heads.
Bryn Williams, 63, from North Wales, who tours the country looking after the classic 1914 Rolls-Royce, said: “This is probably the most prestigious stage for a car show.
“You’re not going to find anywhere better than this.”
The car’s owners rounded off the event on Sunday by taking part in a ‘Grand Depart’ which saw them drive up The Long Walk away from the castle.
