Boyne Hill remain in pole position of Thames Valley League Division 1 having defeated Henley 2nds by four wickets on Saturday.
Put in to field first, Hill bowled visiting side Henley out for just 143 in 45.3 overs before reaching their total at the expense of six wickets in 26.2 overs.
The visitors’ most formidable batsmen were A Safi (56) and W Hammersley (30). Hill’s best bowling came from Jacob Wintle, taking 4-24.
O West (55) proved to be the best with the bat for Ziya Mohamed’s side, knocking over a half-century of runs.
Next up for Boyne Hill is a trip to Eversley.
Cookham Dean have slipped to sixth in the table following a one-wicket loss to Falkland at the weekend.
Having lost the coin toss, Falkland were required to field first on home soil but did so shrewdly, restricting Greg Davis’ men to 138 all out in 35.2 overs.
Reliable batsman AdamAli and wicket-keeper Jake Lawson departed the crease without a run to their name with Jamie Odell (43) striking the best figures on this afternoon.
With the ball, Matt Dempster took 3-37 and Nimnaka Jayathilake seized 3-48 but the hosts were able to manage 142-9 in 31.3 overs.
Cookham Dean face Henley 2nds at home next.
Elsewhere in Division 1, Marlow occupy third after beating Ickenham by four wickets.
Ickenham got off to a fine start with skipper Elliot Evans batting a formidable 104no. However, the visitors’ lower order had a hard time against Hamza Arif, the spinner taking 5-35.
After 46 overs, Ickenham had managed 202 all out.
Ibrahim Zafar (45) and Harvey Brennan (51) shone for Phil Lines’ side on the offence and after 47.5 overs, Marlow had achieved 203-6.
Marlow travel to Beaconsfield on Saturday.
An eight-wicket defeat to Kew has Windsor sitting fifth in Thames Valley League Division 2A.
Upon winning the toss, Windsor elected to bat first and totted up 124 all out in 41.5 overs.
R Lewin’s men will certainly have better attacks this season with A Allen-Turner (25) chalking up the best figures at the crease.
Kew required just four batsmen in the second innings, managing 126-2 in 26.1 overs, with thanks to D Lewis (63no) and K Paterson (20no).
Windsor go head-to-head with High Wycombe 2nds this weekend.
Elsewhere in Division 2A, ninth-placed Wraysbury lost by 72 runs to Uxbridge at The Green.
Andy Prasad’s side journey to The Meadow to face Chesham 2nds on Saturday.
In Thames Valley League Division 2B, Burnham sit on top of the pile having overcome Binfield by 37 runs.
Batting first at The Memorial Ground, Burnham managed 190 all out in 38.5 overs with Donald McDonald thumping 43 and Mishen Silva hitting 31.
In the second innings, Binfield were restricted to 153 all out in 46.4 overs with Usman Ilyas taking 3-35.
Adnan Shabbir will take his team to Slough 2nds next.
Maidenhead & Bray are establishing themselves as a fierce outfit in Thames Valley League Division 3B as they sit second, level on points with first-placed Amersham 2nds.
On Saturday, Alkesh Vaja’s men beat Bushy Park by four wickets, with wicket-keeper Robert Viney deserving of praise for his stellar 70 runs.
Batting first, Bushy Park managed 166 all out in 38.3 overs. In the second innings, Maidenhead & Bray achieved 171-6 in 42 overs.
They will lock horns with Amersham 2nds this weekend.
