A one-day sculpture workshop focusing on animal and figure forms will take place at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Thursday, July 10.
The session runs from 11am to 4pm and is open to both beginners and experienced artists. Places are £75.
Participants will work with a solid block of clay to create their own sculptures, exploring techniques such as shaping, joining, cutting, scooping and texturing.
The workshop follows the full ceramic process, including how to prepare pieces for firing. Emphasis is placed on form, proportion and creative expression through surface and structure.
The session is led by London-based artist and designer Maria Chernyak Belenky, whose work spans light installations, ceramics, product design and painting.
The event is part of Norden Farm’s wider programme of regular and one-off classes in arts, crafts and wellbeing, offering opportunities to learn new skills in a supportive setting.
A Sculpture: Figures / Animals workshop will show at Norden Farm on Thursday, July 10 from 11am to 4pm. Places are £75.
