Thames Hospice says it is ‘devastated’ after one of its charity shops was broken into earlier this week.
The retail shop at 67 Dedworth Road, Windsor – which generates essential funds for the much-loved hospice in Bray – was broken into in the early hours of Monday morning (May 19).
A spokesperson for Thames Hospice said:
“We were devastated that our charity shop in Dedworth was broken into in the early hours of Monday morning.
“We closed the store to carry out safety checks, ensuring the premises are safe and secure for our colleagues, volunteers and customers. We’re pleased to say the shop has been fully open again since Tuesday.
“While we are unable to comment further while investigations are ongoing, we are working closely with Thames Valley Police and are incredibly grateful to our local community for their understanding, kindness, and continued support.”
