Beer lovers from across the Twyford area are gearing up for the highly anticipated return of the Twyford Beer Festival this weekend - starting this evening (Thursday).
The countdown is on for flocks of people to get out and try a dizzying array of beers and ciders as the festival returns for its 15th edition this year.
Primarily sourced locally, those attending can look forward to over 120 beer and cider options, as well as a selection of wines and spirits.
This year’s beer line-up boasts a mix; local favourites like Ascot Brewing’s Gold Cup alongside the complex Cheriton Porter by Flowerpots, among many more.
The cider features much by Tutts Clump, including a mango-infused offering. Fans of fruit ciders might also enjoy Rhubarb or the Keg Dark Fruit, both medium-sweet.
Several food options will also be on offer, including burgers and sausages, pies from Rural Pie Co Ltd and Indian food from Haweli.
Vegetarian options will be available, as well as soft drinks for those driving to and from the festival.
In addition to food and drink, the celebration will also include a number of live music performances featuring acts such as Atomic Rapture, Euphoria and the Bottle Kids among others.
All staff and artists will be volunteering their time for free to raise money for the charity Orchid, which is dedicated to raising awareness for and supporting men with testicular, penile and prostate cancer.
The Twyford Beer Festival is coming to Stanlake Meadow from Thursday, June 5 to Saturday, June 7.
The barrels are primed and the pumps will be at the ready from 6pm today (Thursday) until 11pm tonight. Everything opens again at 12pm tomorrow (Friday) until 11pm once more - and again on Saturday, from 1ppm to 10.30pm.
Families and dogs are welcome, and access to the site ‘is easy for those with special needs,’ say the organisers on their website.
A full list of beers, ciders and tickets available for purchase can be found at twyfordbeerfest.co.uk
