A welfare van provided by SSE delivered hot food and drink to customers who were experiencing a power cut in Hurst last night (Thursday).
The fault also affected parts of Twyford as well from about 1pm, with a total of 370 customers experiencing the blackout.
And, after power was restored to those areas, Dunt Lane in Hurst was the only road left without power in the evening, so SSE provided a welfare van to customers.
"Customers are contacted by welfare teams through phone calls to make sure their welfare is catered for," a spokesman said.
Two welfare teams are dispatched with one checking customers who rely upon electricity for medical needs, while the other provides food and drink.
He added: "We recognise this power cut is taking much longer to deal with and so we provide the necessary resources for our customers."
SSE issued an apology for the inconvenience caused.
