Lucas Wyn chipped in with a couple of beautifully taken goals as Flackwell Heath claimed a deserved three points from their trip to Milton Keynes Irish on Tuesday evening.
Heath are starting to find some form again in the Southern League Central Division, with this their third win in four league matches.
They also bounced back well from a disappointing home defeat to Ware at Wilks Park on Saturday and look to be in the process of climbing the league table once again.
Tuesday’s win lifts the side above Marlow to 13th place, 12 points off the play-off places with matches in hand over most of the teams above them.
Having struggled to take their chances in Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Ware, where Reece Devante D Beckles-Richards grabbed the game’s only goal from the penalty spot before half-time, this was much more like it from a Flackwell side who clinically took their chances at Manor Fields.
Wyn impressed, gliding past the keeper before stroking the ball into the empty net just before half-time to put the visitors in front.
It’s the season of giving, and Flackwell’s second goal in the 59th minute was gift-wrapped by the hosts for Juwon Akintunde.

A hopeful ball over the top of the Irish defence was misjudged by the backpedalling defender who headed the ball over his own keeper for Akintunde to run onto and fire home from virtually on the goal line.
Flackwell’s third in the 88th minute came from the move of the night, with Eli Grant turning and playing a lovely ball in for Wyn, who cut back inside his marker before slotting past the keeper.

This was the first of four away trips for the Heathens with Chris Ayres’ side also going to Hitchin Town (Saturday), Rayners Lane (Tuesday) and Leighton Town (December 20) before Christmas.
Should they claim a positive result in all three, they’ll likely maintain their upward momentum through to their home clash with Aylesbury United at Wilks Park on Saturday, December 27 and beyond.
That will be easier said than done, but confidence appears to be rising among the group, particularly the front players like Wyn, Grant and Akintunde, with the side having netted eight goals in their past four matches.
Flackwell had tumbled down the table off the back of a disappointing run of form following their FA Cup exit to Maldon & Tiptree in the final qualifying round. They managed only one win from their next nine matches before rediscovering some form with a 3-1 home win over Beaconsfield Town.
