This week’s public notices includes details about a footpath closure and an application for a replacement home.
Footpath closures
The footpath from Byland Drive to Aysgarth Park in Holyport will be closed later this month.
The closure is to facilitate power upgrade works and will be in operation from 8am on Monday, August 25 until 5pm on Friday, September 12.
The alternative route for pedestrians affected will be via Aysgarth Park and Byland Drive.
Planning
An application has been submitted to the Royal Borough for a replacement home with a basement at Hunters Moon in Jubilee Road, Littlewick Green.
According to planning documents, this would follow the demolition of the existing building, which is ‘lawfully used as a residential dwellinghouse’. The current garage will be retained.
The plans follow a ‘very similar application’ earlier in the year, which was ‘refused overwhelmingly on the grounds of the proposed crown roof design’, which looked to accommodate solar panels, according to the planning, design and access and heritage statement. This application would effectively see the crown roof removed and replaced with a traditional ridgeline.
The application can be viewed by typing in the reference 25/02008/FULL into the Royal Borough’s planning portal.
