The Cookham Dean Rebels booked their spot in the final of the u12s League Cup on Sunday after Barney Sharp scored late on to seal a 2-1 win over Burnham Juniors Lynx White.

In an entertaining tie, the Rebels came from behind to seal victory at the end, just when it appeared likely the game would be settled by penalty kicks.

Burnham took the lead early on before the Rebels rallied late in the half with a goal from Leo Russell.

They continued to press after the break but couldn't find a way through the Burnham defence until the final minute when Sharp produced a perfectly weighted chip over the White's defence and goalkeeper.

The other semi-final saw Burnham Junior Lynx Blue edged a close game against the Delaford Colts White 2-1.

In the u12s Treasurers Cup FC Cippenham Panthers were 1-0 winners over Marish Wizard Blacks and Slough Town Junior Stags beat FC Cippenham Tigers 3-1.

The Golden Eagles claimed a convincing 7-1 win over RedKore in their u13s President's Cup match, while Burnham Juniors Sabres White were 4-2 winners over Harefield United Youth. Maidenhead United Cobras beat Chalfont Saints United 2-0 away from home and Frontline defeated Holyport Warriors 8-0.

Maidenhead Boys & Girls FC’s u15s Vipers were beaten 3-2 away by Reeve Rangers Hoops, having gone into the game with only eight players.

Rangers kindly reduced their numbers to 10 and, after a slow start which saw them concede twice, they battled back to make it 2-2. On several occasions they came close to scoring a winner, and they were unlucky to eventually lose the game 3-2.

There was an 8-2 win for the U14s Dolphins in their League Cup quarter final against Ashridge Park Royals, with the semi-final to played on March 19.

Finally, the u12s Wolverines were also victorious, beating Caversham Trents Whites in a cup group game in the BYDL Division 3.
