A talented young footballer from Maidenhead has been celebrating success on the other side of the globe after helping her team lift the Professional Academy 7s competition in Singapore.
Jasmine Hume, of All Saints Avenue in Maidenhead, recently travelled to Singapore to take part in the competition.
Her team, Makati FC, went unbeaten through the group stages and continued that form as they fought their way through the knock-out rounds to clinch the title.
It’s the second year running the team has won the championship title.
Liverpool, Barcelona, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur all sent academy teams to compete at the event.
