Budding artists are being invited to create their own masterpieces on the spot in or around Windsor town centre this week.
The Quick Paint competition will kick off at 10am on Saturday when professional or amateur artists will be given three hours to paint a picture in the open with a royal theme, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Coronation.
The results will be judged at 3pm with a £500 cash prize presented to the winner by Windsor's MP Adam Afriyie, before all the entries are exhibited in Windsor Royal Shopping centre until 5pm.
Deborah James from Windsor Events said: “En Plein Air styled events have been very popular across the world. It allows artists to create and show off their different techniques and styles in an open setting."
To take part register at tickets.windsor.gov.uk/Sales/ click on events and go to Quick Paint. There is a registration fee of £7.
