Police are appealing for witnesses following a ‘firearms incident’ in the VIP area of Windsor Racecourse at the Tea Party Festival.
A 27-year-old man received a chest injury at about 8.30pm yesterday after a disturbance on the venue’s dancefloor.
According to a statement released by Thames Valley Police, he heard a ‘cap gun’ sound and then realised he had been hurt.
He is currently in hospital in a stable condition.
Investigators have described the offender as ‘a black man, believed to be aged in his thirties’.
Police are particularly seeking anyone who may have captured photo or video footage of the incident.
Royal Windsor Racecourse has been contacted but declined to comment at this time.
