A SERVICE to mark World Day of Prayer will be held at Christ the King Church, Sedgewell Road, Sonning Common, at 6.30pm on March 6.
The service will be prepared by the women of Nigeria. The theme is “comfort and renewal” and will follow the stories of four women who overcame difficulties.
It will be led by a group, representing six churches from the Sonning Common area. All are welcome to attend.

A former head of music at Newlands Girls’ School in Maidenhead has been banned from teaching indefinitely over a litany of ‘sexually motivated’ advances on students.
