A DRAWING for beginners’ workshop will be held in Watlington.
The event will be led by Sharon Akers, of Watlington artsHUB, at the Methodist Church in Shirburn Street.
It will be held on May 24 from 10am to 1pm and is designed to help people gain confidence to draw from observation.
Activities will include mark making on paper using natural forms for inspiration and mono printing. Tickets cost £35 tinyurl.com/akersartclass

A former head of music at Newlands Girls’ School in Maidenhead has been banned from teaching indefinitely over a litany of ‘sexually motivated’ advances on students.
