A teenage boy from Slough has been charged with manslaughter over the death of a pensioner who was attacked outside a parade of shops.
The boy, 17, who cannot be named due to his age, has been released on conditional bail and is due to appear at Reading Youth Court on November 12.
Giovanni Cecaro, 82, from Slough, died five days after he was assaulted outside shops in Stoke Road at the junction with Elliman Avenue at around 3.50pm on 29 September 2024.
Thames Valley Police said that another teenager who was arrested in connection with Mr Cecaro’s death has been released from bail with no further action to be taken.
