Last year's fair.
A Christmas fair in Clewer – postponed due to Storm Bert – is set for this coming Sunday (December 1), featuring a grotto, stalls, games and a raffle.
The Clewer and Dedworth Together Christmas Fair is set for Clewer Memorial Recreation Ground from 1pm to 4pm.
This event was actually meant to be last weekend on Sunday, November 24, but was postponed due to Storm Bert.
On social media platform Nextdoor, Councillor Alison Carpenter (tBfI, Clewer and Dedworth East) wrote:
“After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our Christmas Fair originally scheduled for Sunday, 24th November, due to the anticipated impact of Storm Bert.
“Ensuring the safety of our visitors and stallholders is our top priority, and we want to avoid any potential issues with adverse weather, such as strong winds that could affect gazebos and attendance.
“The Christmas Fair will now take place on Sunday, 1st December, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
“We have reviewed the forecast for this new date, and it looks much more favourable for a successful and enjoyable event.
“Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out [at] info@cleweranddedworth.org.uk
The fair will be held in Clewer Memorial Recreation Ground (The Pirate Park) on Dedworth RoD, Windsor SL3 5AY.
There is no on-site car parking for this event.
