    Popoola floats a cross over for Clerima at the far post but his header - while on target - doesn't have the power or direction to beat Sandford.

    45' Maidenhead with a chance almost immediately. Dulson gets into a great position on the left of the area but tries to lay it back instead of shooting and the chance goes begging. A minute later and Corie Andrews is played in but his effort is snuffed out. Good start to the half from the Magpies who'll feel they should have taken one of those opportunities. 0-0 

    45' Back underway at York Road. 

    It's been a stop-start half of football that looks set to finish goalless. Dulson has probably  had the best chance for Maidenhead after a good run from Clerima. 0-0

    42' Maidenhead break well through Popoola who feeds a good ball through to Dulson. But Dulson's attempt is neither a cross or a shot and it floats out of play on the far side. 0-0 

    40' Half chance for visitors. The ball is swung in from the right and Aderoju gets his head to the ball and directs it goalwards, but it's a pretty comfortable save for Van Stappershoef. 0-0 

    37' Another stoppage after Jayden Mitchell-Lawson took a ball to the unmentionables. Looks like he's been winded there but will be okay in a couple of minutes I'm sure. 0-0 

    36' Popoola whips in a dangerous cross from the left that Andrews heads back across goal from the far post, but no one in black and white is able to force the ball home. More pressure from the hosts 0-0 

    34' Clerima hurls a long  throw into the box and it's flicked on by De Havilland, but Eastbourne are able to clear the danger. 0-0 

    31' An attempt on target from the Magpies. It's a tame effort from Dulson after good work from Clerima and Popoola. 0-0 

    30' Half an hour in and we're still awaiting the game's first goal. It's not been the best of games to be honest. Maidenhead have got into some decent areas but haven't done much with their final ball. They also haven't had enough, if any, attempts on goal. 0-0 

    28' Eastbourne waste the chance to swing a free kick into the Magpies area, playing it back to try and work another opening, but it doesn't work out for them, 0-0 

    24' Half a claim for a penalty for Eastbourne after a coming together between Onariase and Aderoju. Referee not interested in the visitors' appeals. 0-0 

    23' The injury is serious enough to force the forward off. Another blow for Maidenhead. He's going to be replaced by Corie Andrews. 0-0 

    20' Stoppage in play while Josh Umerah receives treatment for an injury. He hurt himself trying to get a shot off in the Borough penalty area after a mazy run from Popoola. 0-0 

    16' Chance for Eastbourne. Josh Anifowose gets a shot away just inside the Magpies area, but the hosts manage to get half a block on it and take the power out of the effort. Good spell for Borough in the last few minutes though. 0-0 

    15' A cagey opening 15 minutes at York Road. Maidenhead are trying to force the issue and get forward but they've been dealt with fairly comfortably so far by Eastbourne, barring that chance for Dulson. The visitors also look a threat on the break 0-0 

    11' Decent chance for Maidenhead. The ball falls kindly for Dulson in the box after a great surging run from Clerima into the area, but the keeper Sandford saves well. 0-0 

    5' Isaac Pitblado forces a corner on the left side. Decent block from Ryan Bartley who did well to prevent the ball getting into the Magpies area. At the other end Liam Dulson fed the ball to Josh Popoola on the left but his attempted trickier in the box was well read by the Eastbourne defenders who cleared. 0-0 

    There's no Matt Robinson for the Magpies today. He'll be a big miss based on his recent performances. Remy Clerima comes into a defensive midfield role alongside Kane Ferdinand. 0-0 

    1' Eastbourne kick the game underway and play the ball forward for a goal kick to Maidenhead. 0-0 

    The teams are out at York Road. Maidenhead in their usual black and white, half and half shirt and the visitors, Eastbourne in all pink. Will de Havilland is back for the Magpies and it looks like the hosts will be kicking down the slope in the first half. 

    The teams are starting to assemble between the changing rooms and they'll then be led out onto the York Road turf. 

    The Eastbourne Borough have been out for their pre-match warm-up. Looks like they'll be in all pink for today's game! 

    Here's a report of Wednesday's Berks & Bucks Cup win for the Magpies at Aldermaston. Quaye Vine and Noah Stewart registered their first senior goals for the club in the victory

    It's been a quiet-ish period for the Magpies of late. Their exit from the FA Cup means they've played only four matches since early September. However, those victories have lifted Alan Devonshire's side to fourth in the table. 

    They remain only five points adrift of leaders Hornchurch - with a game in hand - and are just two points behind Weston Super Mare in second place. 

    Victories today against Eastbourne, and on Tuesday at home to Tonbridge Angels could potentially lift them even higher in the table. It's been a really consistent period in terms of results, but performances of late haven't been perfect. They had to scrap and fight for their 1-0 wins over Maidstone United and Worthing. Still, winning when not at your best is surely a very good sign.

    Welcome to York Road where Maidenhead United will go in search of a seventh straight National League South victory at home to a currently winless Eastbourne Borough, who've recently announced the departure of manager Matt Gray - what could possibly go wrong?! 

    The Magpies come into the game off the back of a two week break following their last league outing, a 1-0 home win over Worthing where Liam Dulson scored the first half winner. 

    A much-changed Magpies side also played in the second round of the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup in mid-week, defeating Wessex Football League hosts AFC Aldermaston 3-0 at the Mettal Stadium. 

    Eastbourne Borough have lost five and drawn five of their 10 matches so far. They'll be desperate to kick start their season with a win, however, draws against Ebbsfleet United and Salisbury in their last two matches have at least moved them off the bottom of the table.
