In the public notices this week, a takeout in Slough is looking to change its hours of operation, and there are road closures around Datchet.
Licensing
Pizza Hut in Bath Road has applied for a new premises licence allowing it to serve late-night refreshment from 11pm to 3am Thursday to Saturday (and bank holiday Sundays), and 11pm to midnight Sunday to Thursday.
Its opening hours to the public will be 11pm to midnight every day.
Planning
A three-storey nursery with 12 flats is looking for retrospective permission (P/17286/013) – because what was built varies from what it was originally granted permission for.
The site benefits from an existing permission (P/17286/001) to provide 386sqm of nursery space with 12 flats.
This was completed in January 2023 – but the building deviates from the approved drawings in terms of internal layout, windows and door fenestrations, car park layout, resident’s bike store and bin store.
Traffic
The Royal Borough is looking to close Thames Street from its junction with Datchet Road northward to boundary of 58 Thames Street. There is no diversion route available.
The purpose is to facilitate works on the road with a crane operation.
This is set for 8am to 5pm daily from September 3-4.
For more information, contact LTS Group on 01708 374 843.
The council also seeks to close Crimp Hill from eastern boundary of the Union Inn westward to boundary of number 23. This is for pipe relay works.
The diversion route for vehicles affected by these works will be via Burfield Road, Priest Hill and Ridegmead Road.
Road closures are set to be in force from 9.30am on August 30 until 4pm September 2.

Lastly, Windsor and Maidenhead council has made an order to prohibit close the road in Datchet High Street between its junctions with Manor House Lane and The Avenue.
The purpose is to facilitate works in the roads around Network Rail at the High Street Level Crossing.
The alternative route will be via The Green, Queens Road and Windsor Road.
This closure will be from 11pm and 5am from September 2, with works expected to be completed by 5am on September 6.
