Temporary restrictions
The council has made an order to temporarily close Thorndike in Slough between 45 Thorndike and 61 Thorndike to traffic for a period in January.
The order is required because works are or are proposed to be conducted on or near the road.
It will come into operation from 12.01am on Monday, January 26 2026, with all works expected to be completed by 11.59pm on Thursday, January 29.
The duration of the order can be extended with approval from the Secretary of State for Transport.
An alternative highway will be available to use while the order is in operation, and local diversions will be clearly signed at the site.
Advanced warning notices will also be at the locations, providing the dates for when the works will be carried out.
Access will be maintained for all local businesses and residents.
