WOODCOTE Volunteers is running its winter wheels project again this winter.
From December 1 to February 28, clients will not pay drivers’ expenses for drives undertaken during that period.
This is intended to offer compensation for clients who no longer receive the winter fuel allowance or who may be struggling with increases in the cost of living.

A former head of music at Newlands Girls’ School in Maidenhead has been banned from teaching indefinitely over a litany of ‘sexually motivated’ advances on students.
