Public notices: Road closures and communication hubs

In the public notices this week, Infocus Public Networks has given notice of its wish to install a new ‘communication hub’ outside Tesco Extra on Brunel Way.

This internet-connected public phone and information portal will affect the setting of a listed building.

The application seeks to put these hubs in multiple locations. For more information, see:

Road closures

Slough council is looking to close the road to traffic through Station Road, Cippenham from Bath Road to Iona Crescent.

This will be from a minute past midnight on Saturday, October 21 until a predicted end date and time of 11.59pm on Sunday, November 5.

Meanwhile, Windsor and Maidenhead council is looking to close B376 Slough Road in Datchet from its junction with B470 High Street to its junction with Queen’s Road.

This will be overnight from 9pm until 6am the next day – Wednesday, October 18 until Saturday, October 21.

The alternative route is via B376 London Road, Slough Road, B3026 Eton Road, Pococks Lane, B3022 Slough Road, A332 Royal Windsor Way, A308 Goslar Way, Osborne Road, A38 Kings Road, A308 Albert Road, Datchet Road, B3021 Southlea Road and B470 High Street.
