After Monday night’s game at Chelmsford City was postponed due to a frozen pitch, Slough Town have fixed up a home friendly with Watford u21s this evening (Tuesday).
The Rebels have won their last three league games on the spin and feel the friendly fixture will aid them as they look to build on their current form.
The game kicks off at Arbour Park at 7.15pm and is free for season ticket holders. It’s £5 for adults and concessions and £1 for u18s. Tickets can be bought on the gate only. Turnstile will open from 6.30pm.
Slough have been in good form of late, winning away at Maidenhead United on Boxing Day and at home to Chesham United on December 30. On Saturday, they recovered from a shaky start to beat Eastbourne Borough 2-1 with goals from Kiki Oshilaja and Wiktor Makowski and Saturday sees the side travel to bottom of the table Chippenham Town.
Chippenham have managed just three wins from their 25 league matches so far, so the Rebels must be favourites for the clash. Their recent wins have lifted the side to 16th in the table; four points clear of the National League South relegation zone.
