Drivers are being warned not to attempt to drive through flood water after a car became submerged at Land’s End Ford in Charvil.
Crews from the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene at 6.20pm on Tuesday, January 20 following reports of a stranded car.
The driver had managed to evacuate but the vehicle was left stuck in four feet of water.
Firefighters from Wokingham Road and Wokingham stations put tape up to alert others to the risk of crossing the ford.
Drivers should not attempt to cross the ford while water levels are high, the fire service said.
