ST Michael’s Church in Sonning Common will hold a Christmas Eve service at 5pm on Wednesday for families.
This will be followed by carols at 7.30pm and mass at 8pm. On Thursday, Christmas Day, a service will be held at 10.30am.
St John the Baptist Church in Kidmore End will hold mass on Wednesday starting at 11pm and a Christmas Day service from 11.15am.
Springwater Church in Sonning will hold a candlelight carol service on Wednesday from 4pm to 6pm and its Christmas Day service from 10.30am.
All Saints’ Church in Peppard will hold carols on the common on Wednesday at 5pm, Holy Communion on Thursday at 9am and a carol service at 11am.

A former head of music at Newlands Girls’ School in Maidenhead has been banned from teaching indefinitely over a litany of ‘sexually motivated’ advances on students.
