Drivers using the M4 between Slough and Maidenhead have been warned to expect disruption as emergency services battle a fire on a heavy goods vehicle.
The westbound carriageway between Slough (junction 6) and Maidenhead (junction 8/9) is closed with fire crews on scene and National Highways teams helping manage traffic in the area.
Traffic England's website showed delays of more than an hour on approach to junction 6, with disruption to continue until at least 8pm.
A post on Thames Valley Police social media said its officers were also in attendance as the HGV, a hay lorry, had caught fire and was causing 'significant smoke blowing into the Meadow Way area of Dorney Reach'.
