Police have issued an appeal for help to find a convicted burglar with links to Slough after he absconded from prison.
James Dooley, 23, had been serving a six-year and three-month sentence at HMP Hollesley Bay in Suffolk for burglary offences and intent to pervert the course of justice.
He was reported missing to police in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday, February 24).
Dooley is white, six feet and one inch tall, and has brown hair. Suffolk police said he has links to Slough, as well as Wood Green in North London and Waltham Cross in Hertfordshire.
“Anyone who believes they have seen James Dooley or who has any information regarding his whereabouts, is asked to contact the South Response Investigation Team, quoting the following references: 37/10874/26,” a police statement said.
Reports can be made by calling 101, the Suffolk Police website, or via Crimestoppers.
The police statement added: "Please note in the event of an emergency you should always call 999."
