Fire crews were called to a gas pipe fire beneath a road in Slough on Thursday afternoon (March 19).
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service attended Langley Road at around 2.39pm on Thursday, March 19, following reports from Cadent Gas of a fire below ground.
Crews from Langley and Slough fire stations, along with an officer, found a ruptured gas pipe that had caught fire.
Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the flames before handing the scene over to SEB Electrics.
Crews remained at the scene for approximately two hours and 32 minutes.
