HENLEY Exiles ran out winners in their Division 5 Reading and District Sunday League clash at Reading Kites.
The visitors started the match well, creating chances at will, but against the run of play with their first attack Reading Kites took the lead with a tidy finish.
Henley equalised when Michael Whorrell whipped in a cross to score direct from a corner.
In the move of the match with good build up play down the left-hand side, Sam Redding and Henry McDonagh linked up well for the latter to give Henley the lead.
The second half started in similar fashion with Henley in control but they were lacking the cutting edge until a moment of class from Josh Gay unlocked the door. A well-timed sliding block tackle won possession in the opposition box and he put a cross in for Luke Davis to score from close range.
