Visitors to Windsor Great Park will no longer be able to use Cranbourne Car Park due to a new exclusion zone which is being introduced.
Signs have been erected warning that part of the sprawling Crown Estate land is set to be designated as a Serious Organised Crime and Police Act exclusion area.
These extra security measures are understood to have been brought in as the Prince and Princess of Wales prepare to move to a new family home in the Great Park, Forest Lodge.
Cranbourne Car Park permanently closed to visitors on Sunday (September 28) and access to the park via Cranbourne Gate is also now blocked off.
The Crown Estate said parkgoers will still be able to park at nearby Rangers Gate Car Park which is located further down Sheet Street Road.
It added the alternative Rangers Gate facility offers a safer route into the park via a pedestrian crossing.
