The body of a man found in water in the Chertsey area is believed to be that of a missing man from Old Windsor.
Thames Valley Police was informed of a body being found in water in the Chertsey area of Surrey on Saturday afternoon.
The body is believed to be missing man Christopher, 41, from Old Windsor, who was reported missing on January 17.
Formal identification of the man has not yet taken place.
Christopher’s next of kin have been informed.
A file is being prepared for the coroner and there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, TVP said.
The force added: “Our thoughts remain with the family of Christopher’s family at this difficult time.”
