British food writer and critic Tom Parker Bowles will host an exclusive Q&A event at a Windsor hotel next month.
The intimate evening of food, drink, and storytelling with the Queen's eldest son from her first marriage takes place at The Castle Hotel on Thursday, March 6.
Just steps away from the royal residence, the event celebrates the release of his ninth cookbook Cooking and The Crown.
Following extensive research, including at the Royal Archives in Windsor, Tom Parker Bowles has documented recipes from extravagant Victorian high teas to his mother Camilla’s cooking.
Tom Parker Bowles is drawing back the curtain on the royals and their eating habits, from Queen Victoria to the current Monarch, King Charles III.
General Manager of The Castle Hotel Windsor Sam Goss said: “It will be a pleasure and a privilege to welcome Tom Parker Bowles to the Castle.
“There is no better place to invite the local community to join in a captivating discussion of food, history and royal tradition with a renowned expert.”
Guests will be served a complimentary glass of prosecco and a selection of canapés and receive a copy of Cooking and the Crown included with their ticket.
The drinks reception at the Windsor High Street hotel will allow guests to meet Tom and have their book copy signed.
Sam Goss will then lead a Q&A session, ranging across Tom’s life and work, little-known royal anecdotes, and all things culinary.
Tickets at £25 will include a welcome glass of fizz, canapés, a signed copy of Cooking and the Crown, and access to the Q&A session.
