A builder who dumped rubbish in Wexham has been ordered to pay thousands of pounds following an investigation.
Faisal Kamran, from Northolt in West London, admitted to dumping the rubbish in Wexham Park Lane, which was found by an enforcement officer from Buckinghamshire Council on April 27, 2022.
The findings led the officer to a householder who had recently had his bathroom renovated.
The householder revealed that Kamran had collected the waste which was later found dumped. When interviewed under caution at Hayes Police Station Kamran admitted dumping the waste, claiming that he intended to go back and get it.
After ignoring a court summons, Kamran was arrested and appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates Court on November 30.
He pleaded guilty to the offence, and was fined £1,066, ordered to pay the council’s full costs of £1,097.57 and told to pay a victim surcharge, making a total to pay of £2,265.57
Gareth Williams, Buckinghamshire Council’s Cabinet Member for Climate Change and Environment said: “We proactively target those who choose to commit environmentally damaging offences such as this. The council provide excellent waste facilities, there really is no excuse for fly-tipping. Ignorance really wasn't bliss here."
